DR. DERWIN L. GRAY & TRANSFORMATION CHURCH

“a gospel vision of unity within diversity”

The Multiethnic Church Roundtable is an opportunity for ministry leaders to learn more about the ancient call of the early New Testament church that crossed ethnic and socioeconomic barriers to create communities of grace, love, and reconciliation on earth.

Through teachings, breakout sessions, and small group discussions, ministry leaders, and church planters will learn the theology and best practices of the multiethnic church.

Learn

Learn from Dr. Derwin Gray and the staff of Transformation Church, one of the leading multiethnic churches in the country. In the teaching and breakout sessions we will lay down the foundational theology for the multiethnic church as well as learn practical applications for your context.

Discuss

You will have opportunities to attend a LIVE Digital Q&A with Dr. Derwin Gray and Vicki Gray as well as other members of the Transformation Church staff on December 6. You will also be invited to group like-minded pastors, church planters, and leaders to share ideas and encouragement throughout the year.

This isn’t an approach to the multiethnic church that is based in sociology, but it’s a vision that is based on scripture and theology.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

At the Roundtable, you will have the opportunity to watch in breakout sessions with Transformation Church staff members. These are the people who live and breathe the mission and vision of TC as they lead ministry teams on a practical level. You can take this time to learn and gain new ideas.

Topics Include: Building multiethnic servant leader teams, developing a biblical view of immigration, partnering with your community for maximum impact, and how the church can take an active role in brain health.

FAQs

Is it required that I read the book before attending?

Yes! As a part of our application process, we require attendees to have read the book and contemplated the study questions in each chapter prior to attending. This will enable a deeper level of learning and application that will benefit not only you, but other leaders that you’ll interact with at the Roundtable. Building a Multiethnic Church is available anywhere books are sold.

How many Roundtables take place each year?

We host two Roundtables each year: one in the Spring and one in the Fall.

Is the Roundtable for pastors only?

We want to equip and encourage not only pastors, but their staff, servant leaders, and congregation. We believe the Church is the multiethnic family of God, rooted in Christ, living on mission, sharing the transformative gospel of grace in all of life.
